Custom e-commerce development

A store that works for you, not the other way around.

Most online stores are built the same way: a theme, dozens of plugins and a hope that it all holds. It works while the catalog is small. Then the third supplier arrives, or the thousandth SKU, or an ERP that has to stay in sync, and someone on your team starts re-typing orders by hand.

Before us, Oblak i Sunce ran on 40+ plugins, its pages took 7.8 seconds to load and admin work ate six hours a week. Today it runs 6,900 products on a store built for it alone.

We work the other way around. Custom e-commerce development starts with your catalog, your suppliers and how your customers actually buy. Only then do we pick the stack: a custom WooCommerce build where that makes sense, a fully custom platform when the catalog and integrations demand it. When we hand over, the store is yours: code, admin and data, with no platform rent and no revenue share.

What your store gets

Six features, each with proof.

A catalog built for thousands of SKUs

Thousands of SKUs, variants, brands and filters that stay fast. Oblak i Sunce runs 6,900 products, and Skippers Shop was built for 10,000+.

ERP, inventory and supplier sync

Your store talks to the systems you already use, so stock and prices update themselves instead of being re-typed. More on ERP integration.

Card payments that fit your market

We've integrated Monri, AllSecure, Stripe and PayPal, so you choose what your bank and your market require.

An admin your team runs

Products, prices, promotions and content, without a developer. The owners of Oblak i Sunce run their store themselves, every day.

Speed and SEO from day one

Oblak i Sunce: 96/100 Lighthouse performance on mobile, 100/100 SEO and +312% organic growth in the first three months.

A checkout that keeps buyers

At Oblak i Sunce, checkout takes two steps, the cart updates in real time and a bar shows how far the customer is from free delivery. LogosPharm adds a one-click express checkout.

Honestly

When you don’t need custom e-commerce.

If you sell a few dozen products, with no ERP and no special rules, Shopify or WooCommerce will cost you less and do the job. We'll tell you that on the first call and point you somewhere cheaper.

Custom e-commerce development makes sense when:

  • you have hundreds or thousands of SKUs and supplier data that keeps changing,
  • your store has to work with an ERP, inventory or fiscalization,
  • you pay more in subscriptions and plugins than one build would cost,
  • your team loses hours every week to manual entry.
How a custom store gets built

A process with no surprises in it.

Every store goes through the same four steps, so you always know what happens next and what it costs.

Step 01
Discovery & scoping
We go through your catalog, suppliers, payments, shipping and every system the store has to work with. Scope and price are fixed in writing before any code is written.
Step 02
Design & prototype
You approve working screens: home, category, product, cart and checkout. A change costs minutes at this stage and weeks later.
Step 03
Engineering & integrations
We build the store, connect your ERP, inventory and payments, and import your products. Regular check-ins, in plain language.
Step 04
Launch & handover
QA, launch, full documentation and the keys. Code, admin and data are yours outright.
FAQ

Custom e-commerce: questions and answers.

What does a bespoke e-commerce build cost?

It depends on catalog size and variants, integrations (ERP, inventory, payments, fiscalization) and how much custom logic your sales need. After discovery you get a fixed price in writing, before any work starts. No monthly platform fee and no percentage of your sales.

How long does it take?

It depends on scope. LogosPharm, with 3,000+ products and ERP sync, shipped in six weeks. Oblak i Sunce, with 6,900 products and 16 purpose-designed pages, took 14 weeks.

WooCommerce or a fully custom platform?

It depends on your catalog and integrations. LogosPharm and RevoqPro run on WooCommerce, with a theme and logic written from scratch. Oblak i Sunce and Skippers Shop are fully custom platforms. We recommend one after discovery, and explain why.

Can you import our existing products?

Yes, from CSV and Excel files or an export from your current system. At Skippers Shop one CSV upload loads thousands of SKUs in minutes, and on Prostor+ we migrated 8,000+ articles from the old WordPress site with no data loss.

Do you work with companies outside Montenegro?

Yes. We're based in Podgorica, Montenegro, with a US company in Wyoming. Skippers Shop was built for the US market, and RevoqPro sells internationally, in English, and regionally, in Serbian, from one platform. Calls, proposals and documentation are in English.

Who maintains the store after launch?

Your team runs the day-to-day work in an admin built for non-technical people. We hand over the code and documentation, so any developer can take over updates. For new features you call us when you want something, never because you have to.

Let's see if custom
e-commerce pays for itself.

A thirty-minute call. If off-the-shelf still fits you, we'll say so. If not, you get a fixed-price proposal with a clear scope.
