We built every layer to fit how the clinic operates: front-end, content model and admin as one system. Six clinical areas resolve into curated services and the full 490-item price list, modeled as related data. The signature move made Excel the engine, so staff drop in an .xlsx, preview every change, and commit one reconciled update.
The clinic now runs the entire platform on its own. Non-technical staff manage all 490+ priced analyses, four locations and twelve specialist profiles from one bespoke admin. A quarterly, developer-assisted price chore became a single upload. The retainer ended at launch, with an accessibility target of WCAG 2.1 AA reached by default.
Ground-up build, no WordPress, no page builder. React and Vite front-end, Node.js and Express API, Drizzle ORM on PostgreSQL, a custom headless CMS with TipTap rich-text, JWT role-based auth, and a bespoke .xlsx ingestion pipeline with two-way price sync. A cinematic public site plus a purpose-built admin the clinic owns outright.
